Epica awards is the site which gives awards to the creative ads published in Europe by the corporates. In 2004 Telecom Italia (Biggest telecommunication company in Italy) had published an ad and that featured Gandhi ji in that ad and guess what Gandhi ji is giving out a message to the world using a webcam in that ad

Anyway, Do watch this ad as it is so nice, touching and shows you the power of Gandhigiri! It feels really nice that a foreign company is giving the respect to his values and thus thought of delivering such a wonderful ad. Hats off! to the guys who thought on this line and gave us one of the gems in ads

However, on the other hand it hurts a bit as well….when I see many Indians (many politicians as well) who just don’t care about his values and on top of that they abuse this great man. Why can’t people understand that his values were correct and although they are simple but difficult to follow as well. When a big foreign company like Telecom Italia can respect him and his values then why not those people ?
